'Checklist' for Freshmen

  1. Accept offer and make course fee payment.
    Please refer to the offer letter sent to you by email and follow the steps provided to accept your offer. You should then receive your MyMail and Student Portal log in details by email within 5 working days after acceptance and course fee payment.

  2. Browse through the Orientation website to get all the information you need as a freshman!

  3. Register for Freshmen Series organised just for you after Orientation day.

  4. Watch the Campus Tour to see what's available around the campus.

  1. Meet your Deans and HOPs by participating in live Zoom or Face-to Face meetings. For information on how to join a Zoom session during Orientation, click here.

  2. Attend booths catered to your interests.
    • Chat with SUSS Staff from various departments at Blk A Atrium:
      Visit the booths to find out about the range of support and opportunities offered by SUSS for your academic matters, career development, well-being and student life! 
    • Chat with Student Groups:
      Join this session if you are keen to discover the different student life activities, leadership opportunities and competition sports available for SUSS students!

  1. Check out this virtual tour if you had missed the Orientation Campus Tour.

  2. From 13 Jan 2024 onwards, attend useful Freshmen Series organized just for you (optional).

  3. Familiarise yourself with important dates and university policies by reading the Student Handbook and referring to the links provided below.

     

  4. Check your course timetable on the Student Portal from 10 January 2024 (Wednesday), after 5.00pm.

  5. Read the start of semester updates (available from 10 January 2024 onwards) from Learning Services to be familiar with the essential tools and apps that you will need for your studies.

  6. Explore the Canvas Online Course (available from 11 January 2024 onwards).
